I have an F1 visa and want to start an online brokering company with an American citizen through the website Alibaba. Can I work on it through my computer, if not what would be a way in which I could me this work?

If you do not have a valid EAD (Employment Authorization) card you can not work or start a business in the US while you are in F1 visa. Whether or not you can work through it from your computer or not is secondary, the most important thing you should be concerned about is the work authorization card. If you do not know how the employment process works in the US talk to your school's DSO or to an immigration attorney.
