Jersey City, NJ asked in Landlord - Tenant for New Jersey

Q: If you are evicted due to violation of Chapter 83, section 52. Can they legally only give you 7 days to vacate an apt?

I live in Sunny Isles Beach, FL. I live in an apartment building that is managed by a managment company with a board of directors. There was an incident outside of the building this weekend that one of my friends was involved in (not me) and the police were involved and had to shut down entrances to the building for a few hours. My landlord told me that the Mgmt company/board of directors told her she had to evict us immediately due to violation of above Florida Statute and we have 7 days to vacate the apartment. First off this point is arguable in my opinion because i feel we did not violate the lease agreement, the police shut down the building entrances and we have a police report that shows we did no wrong doing. how do you fight this? second question, even if we are evicted, do we legally only have 7 days to vacate?? also would i be entitled to my security deposit and pre-paid rent back?
