Q: If we recieved a five day evection do we have to get out or does landlord need paper work from the court

We handed a written paper to his wife asking him to fix up our trailer and in less than 4 hours we sent a law firm evection notice to us. It's me, my husband, and our five year old daughter. Repairs included mold taken care of, countertops, weak floor in the living room and bed bugs. We are renting and paying 525 a month. we have been here a year and have had many issues trying to make the living sisituation sutiable for our child

A: "Self-help" evictions are generally not allowed - a court order is needed. It sounds like they may be in the early stages. If you have been paying your rent timely, take your lease and info to a local attorney or legal aid office for guidance, as you may have a defense to eviction. Do so quickly. Good luck.
