Q: Florida question. My father died and left all real and personal property to me. he

He also had an enhanced life estate deed, with me as the remainderman. The day he died, his neighbors, who had keys to his home, went inside and took most of the personal belongings, including a family heirloom that has been in our family since the early 1800s.

What rights do I have to get that property returned to me?

A: I though I already answered this question a couple of days ago.

Has a probate petition been filed and a personal representative been appointed? If so, the PR should file a suit against the neighbors for replevin of the personal property. The theft can also be reported to the police or sheriff.
