Q: I was a Victim of a Bank or Business Scam, I do not know the type of lawyer to get.

I was a Victim of a Bank or Business Scam, I do not know the type of lawyer to get. The bank wants me to pay back 12k - I think they should have a fraud division to file this to some insurance company, I need an Lawyer to stop the Bank from Damaging my credit and file for insurance for restitution. I file a police Report, my Banks VP who open my accounts 11 years ago know the type of business I have and how Deposits and Withdraws are made by me, also can see that I was scammed. But I need legal help so that I don't get stuck with this bill. What kind of lawyer do I need and can I do anything to prevent the bank to come after me?

A: First you need an accountant, secondly you need a consumer attorney--look for a local member of naca (www.naca.net)
