Q: I operate a child care center. Can a never married mom deny the biological dad the right to pick up his child?
Mom self reports dad as biological, no paternity test has been done. Mom wants dad to have rights, but does not want him to pick up from the child care center. Can I deny him access? She has no paperwork that she can give me awarding physical custody. We have always understood that without paper work, we could not limit pick-up of a child solely based on one parent's wishes. I need guidance
