Q: How many days is the landlord to notify in writing that they are raising the rent?

A: Vague question as it doesnt say if there was a lease or month to month or week to week or any facts. There is no law that says a fixed time. GENERALLY, if you are month to month it should be 15 days notice, same as if landlord was going to terminate your month to month tenancy.
