Chicago, IL asked in Car Accidents for Ohio

Q: Can I sue him?

I was at a stop sign after stopping and looking both ways I decided to go ahead with my left turn. As I was almost in my lane the car on the other lane with the right of way hit me. The damage was to the back near the trunk on the drivers side. He had no insurance or a license he was also speeding and admitted to having enough time to stop but not doing so. He had his car crushed before my insurance could look at it. My insurance is not covering the damage to my car

What can I do?

A: Sure he had his car crushed?Probably taken to a salvage yard.Find out where, photograph it, with vin plate. If your insurance has collision yours will cover. If not, it wouldn't anyway. You may have an uninsured motorist claim for your injuries.Consult a member of the Ohio Assn for Justice.

A: Consult with an Ohio personal injury lawyer ASAP. The attorney can track down the "crushed" car for evidence. You can make a claim under your uninsured policy.
