Q: Marrying my girlfriend and the process
Wondering if i obtain a green card if imarry my girlfriend even tho she already marry a guy and helped him get a green card. We have been dating almost a year, she moved from Texas to NC where we met. She go married 2013 and divorced 2015. Will that change anything as far as we getting married and the process of me getting a green card?
A: USCIS will probably ask you more questions about your marriage, than they might for other couples. But it shouldn't change your eligibility. I would consider discussing with an immigration attorney.
