Q: Any recourse after buying a used car that broke down tow (2) days after purchase?

My wife and I bought a used car from a local car dealer. Two (2) days after the purchase the transmission began to malfunction to a degree that we could not drive the car any longer. We asked the dealer if he could be of any help and essentially was told that "it's your car now, you bought it". We have tried many remedies, at our expense, that he suggested but the car is still undrivable. Is there any recourse that we may have at this juncture?

A: same answer as last time you asked. Used car has on warranties and you could have has a mechanic check it before buying. Likely no remedies.
