Melbourne, FL asked in Child Support for Florida

Q: My separated wife is pregnant with another mans baby,Bio dad not in picture.

I've learned to my horror in another thread that I may be the legal father even if I am not the biological father, if my wife goes ahead with the pregnancy. In other words I'd have to pay child support all the way up to 18, and that kind of thing. Her now ex BF is out of picture and has moved out of town ,as of now we do not know his location.

-What happen now as I am the legal father of the child,How/when do I get the papers in order to make sure I'm not legally on the hook?

- How do we find this other dude to establish paternity?

A: I would start by contacting the Florida Department of Revenue, which is the agency in this state tasked with, among other things, collecting child support. I believe they have more resources for locating putative fathers, and collecting child support from them, than most private individuals or attorneys.
