Q: Does the seller in a FSBO situation need an attorney?
My mom is selling her home as is and we are unsure if we should have an attorney since we aren't using a realtor
A: If you aren't using a realtor you would. You need someone to review the agreement of sale so that it's clear that it's sold as is, that you gave them a right of inspection and many other things. Worth it to at least pay to have one drawn up.
