Q: can I sue ramada inn for cockroach on my sons face in bed I video taped the roach and captured it

A: Other than maybe a free night stay or something there is no legal case as you have no damage. It was a mere inconvenience and bugs get into buildings in Florida routinely.

A: I agree that in the law, because you must show damages, it would be hard to make the case here. First, youi want to be put in contact with their insurance. The individual owner won't do anything in all liklihood. If he doesn't then send him a letter--avoid adjectives or drama--that confirms your request that he send a copy of this to his insurance, or you will have to go to Ramada corporate.

If that doesn't work go to risk management at Ramada Corporate. Ask for a fairly low amount of money.

A: Also, OP didn't indicate whether the child awoke and was aware of the roach on his face. If he had, any fright he may have experienced could, perhaps, be termed "damage". But I agree: recovery is not likely
