Miami, FL asked in Probate for Florida

Q: My aunt formed a trust with beneficiaries being 4 entities and then decendants of the 4 entities. My aunt passed 11/03

Her husband passed 12/13. 5/16 a case was filed to reform the irrevocable trust to distribute assets to beneficiaries. It seems a long time for case to be filed to dissolve trust? Is the Atty, drawing money since 2013? The attorneys forte has been in labor issues, employment issues. Should we be concerned? Names of beneficiaries are incorrect, some duplicated, some omitted on original document filed. Not a very organized operation. Hillsborough county florida thank You In advance

A: No, from May until now doesn't seem very long at all for such a case.

What makes you think the attorney has been drawing money (from the trust, I assume) since 2013, if the case wasn't filed until this past May?
