Tampa, FL asked in Child Custody for Florida

Q: im in florida my ex moved to wv after obtaining custody. i got 1 of twins in july what state has jurisdiction

my twins are 13 the court order was done oct 2011 since the order he moved to west Virginia i haven't seen my sons til july 2016 he let me bring one back to Florida to visit but the vist turned into him telling me about the physical abuse. so hes still here with me and enrolled in school i did file for custody in wv cause i was told that what state kids resided in but after reading online im not sure if they can rule on this either. so which state holds jurisdiction? i have also contacted dcf and reported the abuse as well.
