Q: Can I legally stop my spouse from taking marital property from the home. Also can I change locks if she moves out.

A: Your questions do not have neat yes or no answers. You need to consult with a local family law attorney who can answer your questions about your specific situation but here are some general rules that you won't get from most divorce attorney (especially the ones who get paid more when you and your spouse fight). 1) some times when people go through divorce their emotional state is not conducive to making rational decisions. 2) you pretty much don't want to do any thing that would make you out to be a 'jerk' (i.e. changing locks) if the Court get involved. 3) sometimes attorneys are a necessary evil but generally, hiring and paying strangers often large amounts of money to decided things for you that you and your spouse could decide yourselves fairly and for free is really stupid.
