Q: I have a 2year old WC injury. It began troubling me again. Can I receive supplemental income benefits?

WC is still paying under old claim. WC doctor did MRI and cleared me for work. Company doctor says I can't go back to work.Something is still wrong. Ordering another MRI and sending me to specialist. Company says I can't get supplemental income since it's been 2 years. 1st time treated with therapy and light duty. I was never declared unfit for work till now. I have been off 8 days now

A: Depends, were you given an IR of 15% or greater. That is the first hurdle to clear, you must have an IR that qualifies you for SIBs.
