Q: Already on disability for back but have new diagnosis of Addisons Disease.will this affect my case?payments?get980 now

I've been on disability 2 years for my back. I receive 980/mo. I've just been diagnosed with Addisons Disease and we now believe that's the major cause of the back pain. Along with joint and muscle pain, fatigue, and, nausea and other issues. My renewal review is coming up, not sure what to expect. Will this new diagnosis cause my case to be dropped? Possibly raise benefits?

A: I assume you mean social security. You need to make sure they get the updated records. However, to answer the question your benefits are the same once you are disabled no matter what is disabling you. Once you are on, if you get hit by a truck they remain the same.
