Clovis, NM asked in Car Accidents for New Mexico

Q: How can a judge render a verdict in March if the case was still pending, and did not come to a final verdict in November?

In 2012 I was in a car accident and didn't being dealing with the accident the end of 2014 through 2015. In November 2015 the final outcome was in my favor. Now in the mists of this ,I then received a letter from GlaxoSmithKline saying that I owed them $18,000 for the car accident. So I sent this letter to my attorney and asked why was I receiving this letter, he told me not to worry he would contact this company and let them know that we were still going through the motions of working out the rough edges of this accident. After that, it was about a couple of months that I didn't hear from the company again; until I received a letter from Scott & Kienzle Attorney saying that a judge had made the judge against me. How I didn't go to court and I had a letter after I won that my attorney had made after speaking to both companies and the attorneys that GlaxoSmith Kline wouldn't try to come after me for anything once this was notarized and signed. So how can this happen? Is this legal?

A: Your attorney needs to contact them to find out what that judgment was for. You need to have been served with process for it.

You need to sit down with your attorney, in person, not over the phone. Do this as soon as possible.
