Q: In the case where a petition of interpleader was granted, who has to notify the medical providers?

We have a case where a petition of interpleader was granted, we had a medical lien filed in the county where services were rendered. We had been in contact with the patient's attorney and provided a copy of the lien and medical records and documents. We received a copy of the granted petition on Sept 22nd and the petition was granted in August. We didn't receive anymore notifications after that. I contacted the lawyers office about the documents and they told me a hearing would be set. We never got notification of this either. So, I called the lawyers office Dec 14th and they stated the hearing was set for Dec 30th. I called the district court where the hearing was being held and they didn't have record of a hearing that date only a Dec 2nd date which had already passed. I then called the lawyers office back and they stated there was a mixup. We show up and we are told we are excluded from the allocation of funds because we didn't respond to a Dec 5th notification we never got

A: move to reopen based on lack of notice--check the filings at the court to see a) how the other side notified you or b) at what address.

Not sure what your role in this is. If you are a provider, maybe time for an attorney?
