Q: Can you get a citation in the mail in Pennsylvania is it legal?
I got in an accident. Scene of accident police never told me it was my fault or anything. Got a citation in the mail for careless driving. Is it legal to have it mailed? I thought there were only 3 stipulations to where they wouldn't issue it on the scene of the accident. 1-laungage barrier. 2-medical reason. 3-fled the scene. None of those three things happened. Court is tomorrow to fight the citation. What do I say in court?

Focus on the citation. Did you report it to your insurance? As there are points you may want to consult an attorney who handles citations to see if it can get knocked down. Get a copy of the Accident report--you'll have to pay $1`5.00
