Q: Lis Pendens

Home in both names, no mortgage. Wife states - if i leave she will sell home asaap. File a Lis Pendens ? I plan on a separation in 2017.

A: Wife can flap her pie hole all she wants. She likely can not sell the house without your consent. You can file a lis pendens if you want but it is likely unnecessary. Just consult with a local family law attorney and take the steps necessary to protect your interest in the property.
