Q: I need to change the owner of my business which is located in Florida. How do I go about doing that?

The internet has different answers. 1 was to just have the old owner write a statement of dissociation and the new owner write a statement of authority. Dont know who to give it to and how to write it up. The internet also says 1.Need a notarized copy of the minutes of the meeting where one officer is resigning and new officer accepting, both signatures required to be notarized 2. The current officer must call operations and give Verbal confirmation of her resignation 3. A notarized copy of the new Corp Resolution listing the new officers 4, The additional participant section of the new account agreement completed by the new officer (form attached)

5. Photo ID of the new Officer

6. New trading Authorization (if necessary)
