Q: Do I have a legal right for itemized expenses in a commercial sale?
I sold my business in exchange for the buyers paying off my heloc home loan and 2 business loans. Instead they bought these loans from my bank for a discount which I was unaware of and I received releases of these loans from the buyers. Their attorney did the closing and no amounts were listed as to the amount of these loans but they listed a selling price. Afterward I obtained papers with the full loan amounts plus interest and fees that should have been owed with was over $100,000 less. I requested in writing and by phone a list of amounts that equaled the purchase price but their lawyer refused to respond. Shouldnt I legally be entitled to this? Can I report this attorney?
