Week later no response from her then after the week she messaged saying it was more than a scratch she wanted to go thru insurance I asked for her to give me her information she never did and weeks later she is trying to threaten hit and run. A: Do not worry. The case seems so trivial that i doubt her insurance company will get involved. However, just to be safe, write her a letter indicating your agreement to buy the paint and your commitment to paint the car. Identify the date in which you entered into the agreement and the fact that you already found and purchased the exact paint to fix her car. Finally, remind her that both of you entered into said agreement and that you did not run away from the scene of the accident. Just in case the police shows up to investigate the hit and run, the facts on your certified letter should be presented to the police. Best of luck.
