Lillington, NC asked in Traffic Tickets for North Carolina

Q: What will happen if i got 4 traffic violations and don't have my after 9s yet?

Im 17 years old and live in north carolina. I have gotten 4 tickets. 1 got improper equipment. The other 2 got dismissed and im currently on my last 1 which i might not get a lawyer for. I just might pay it off. What will happen if i go to the DMW and try to get my full license?

A: There's no nice way to say this so I'm just going to say it - for 98% of traffic cases, paying them off is just a very stupid thing to do. Depending on what you are charged with and a host of other factors, lots of bad things can happen when you pay off a ticket. Based on the information you have presented, if you pay it off you will likely not get a full license and you will see a huge insurance increase, So even if you don't hire an attorney (which is what you should do) at least go to your Court date and see what the ADA can do for you. Best of luck.
