Best way to start a company in US and relocate using a L1 visa?

I am an owner of a company in India, the company is 10 year old with healthy financials. around 40% of our individual clients come from US, we are planning to open an office / subsidiary in US. I plan to relocate to US to run the company and establish it, like I did in India. I want to know if I can be eligible? If yes what is the best way to go about it? How long does the process take, including opening company, applying for L1 and getting the visa etc. I am coming to US in June to NYC and would like to meet some lawyers who can help in the case. Thanks for your help in advance.

A: Probably an E1 is better. Reach out to me via email and I can discuss further.
