Fort Lauderdale, FL asked in Libel & Slander for Florida

Q: HII was working in NY and asked two of my former coworkers for a letter of

recommendation, they did it before I leave that Job I asked them to write me two more references and they said go and edit the old one if we get a call we would confirm it,I moved to FL in 2016 and used the recommendation in April 2017 ,when they received the call or email they stated I falsified those letters and I got terminated from the Jobs,can I Sue them for that?

A: You can sue anyone for anything. Will your suit be successful? I strongly doubt it.
