Q: I completed my back child support amount due and over paid by $110. How do I stop these payments and recoup the $110

A: are you paying the money to the state or directly to your ex. If to the state ,you must contact them and tell them you are current and stop taking payments from your payroll. if to the ex, simply pay 110 dollars less on the next payment

A: If there was a Uniform Order for Support, it should have a termination date on it and you need to point that out to the employer who is doing the withholding.

If it doesn't have a termination date, then you need to get a court order terminating the child support.

A: Give up on the $110. I have never seen anyone get any $ back. Hire a lawyer to help u with terminating the child support.
