A: No real estate agent is going to list your house for sale without you requesting this and signing a sales contract. I think you are confusing on line data programs that show your house and list publicly available information and show an estimate of what the house would probably sell for. This is not a sales listing. It is just using publicly available date. If you are looking at Zillow, there will be a note that says that the house is not currently being offered for sale. Be aware that all recorded deeds and tax records are publicly available and viewable by anyone. Historically this meant going to an office and looking up the information but more and more this information is being listed online and anyone can view it. Generally you have to search by address or legal description so usually you can't just type a name and see the information.
