Cape Coral, FL asked in Real Estate Law and White Collar Crime for Florida

Q: realtor promised to give us the commissions on our house , the house we just closed on and my house that's 4sale I live

The last communication between me and the realtor was when I told her we cant afford to buy two houses one for er and the one we wnted. At this point she promised us 30,000.00 from the commissions if we help her get this house. I wanted no part of the deal nothing the realtor promised my wife happened. She kept promising to get loans and being a realtor she knew it was impossible. I have a lot of texts saying Jen said this and Jen said that. They didn't even try to get a mortgage because they knew it was covered. But the house we wanted to buy for cash we are now stuck in a mortgage for hard money at 11% with enormous points. All my wife saw was a chance to mak an extra 30k. If everything went as the realtor told her it would the deal would have been great but illegal on the realtor side. She knows I have stage 3 cancer and stress is not something I can't handle and she knows it. She made my wife think she was going to do well making 30k and make me happy she did it.

A: It sounds like to me you need to consult with a litigation attorney asap. If the realtor borrower money from you and made then promises to pay you back later then you need an attorney to look into the whole situation.
