Hialeah, FL asked in Libel & Slander and Real Estate Law for Florida

Q: My self and 2 sisters own a home, we just found out old deed, indicates step sister, how can we get her off the deed

We already sent her letter, to sign off, however, im seeking termination on the realator, because not speaking to me and my sisters first, my other sister requested a title search, and the realator disclosed the financial business, to the step sister, knowing the sensitivity of the family drama, and issues. Is that grounds for termination of the realator? Contracts are signed, can I have bim terminated? Offers has been presented to sellers already, but no decision made. Your input, will be greatly appreciated.

A: You get the step-sister "off of the deed" by having her sign a quit-claim deed. You can terminate the realtor but he may still be entitled to a commission.
