Q: What steps do I take when my attorney has not represented me in a chapter 13, I've lost my car now it may be the house
He failed to act on letters from trustee. Did not appear in court on the requests to lift the stays on my car. He told me he went and everything was ok. On April 11 they took my car. Now they are asking to lift the stay on my house. He has be inadequate about my case. Each time I have received a letter from the trustee I would call him, he would tell me he would handle it. When the trustee said I wasn't paying enough in the chapter 13, I called him. He told me to put money aside for when the bankruptcy was over to pay it off. He didn't even go to court for my car, but he told me he did. I was suppose to go to court June 2nd. He called me on June 1st and told me my court date was changed to Aug 4th. Now I have a letter asking to take my home. He doesn't act like he cares. I have sent in my bankruptcy payments faithfully I have paid my housenote. Now they are asking for my house for the months I filed in the chapter 13. I have paid 6000 dollars into the chapter 13.
