A: This question has no universal answer. If you are under 21, and especially if 18 or younger, some courts show little flexibility in assisting these youthful drivers. Georgia law is fairly good, for finding ways to NOT report the ticket, or keep points off your license.

Plus, if you have prior tickets, for which you have a "record" the prosecutor you are dealing with can be obstinate, and not be willing to give you a slap on the wrist.

With over 1000 courts in GA handling traffic tickets, and even more judges and prosecutors, each case has to be looked at carefully, for YOUR court location.

Contact a skilled and experienced traffic attorney, and let him or her operate by power of attorney. This saves you time away from work and family.
