Asked in Family Law and International Law

Q: Does the decission from the court in the Philippines will be acknowledgeable in the dutch court?

The durch embassy revoke my sons' passport because they said he is not the son of my partner because im still married to a previous person Even though we had a DNA test. They didnt accepted that. We cannot start our procedure in the netherlands because they cannot give us a certain procedure to start with. My declaration of nullity and void is already in process. A friend advised me to ask my ex to declare in court that he is not the father of my son. If we will do that. Will that be valid so that my present partner can start his act of recognition? So we can regain his dutch passport.

A: You need to discuss your specific facts with a Dutch immigration and nationalization lawyer. This is not a family law, international law, or American law question.
