A: Yes; fees vary by the size of the estate and the county. The county probate website lists the fees. If you don't handle it yourself, there will also be the attorney fees.

AND it also costs to properly manage a NON-probate estate. .... SO many 'one trick ponies' try to talk about probate costs without ever really comparing them to the NON probate costs or the costs to 'avoid' probate (which doesn't always work!). There is no 'one size fits all' plan, and NOTHING in this world is free.
