San Francisco, CA asked in Business Law for California

Q: I filed a Motion to vacate Judgment and it was denied. How can I appeal it? This is a civil suit

I want to appeal the motion to set aside a judgment that was denied. I was named in an employment case and I have nothing to do with the business which was my sisters. I did not make it to trial last year I was under Dr. Care. I filed a motion to set aside the judgment on the 182nd day 2 days of the 180 day period and the judge did not want to hear anything I had to say. It was not fair. When the civil suit was filed I did answer the summons. When he made a decision he did not even care to look at what was filed verses the evidence the Plaintiffs had which was no evidence at all.

A: There are short deadlines for doing that. Have a lawyer review the file to see if you have a basis for appeal. More details are necessary to provide a professional analysis of your issue. The best first step is an Initial Consultation with an Attorney such as myself. You can read more about me, my credentials, awards, honors, testimonials, and media appearances/ publications on my law practice website, www.AEesq.com. I practice law in CA, NY, MA, and DC in the following areas of law: Business & Contracts, Criminal Defense, Divorce & Child Custody, and Education Law.
