Q: is there a time limit on parental kidnapping from state to state

makes it hard to visit and she will not allow visitations. she is holding my kids hostage and has brainwashed them to a point where i cant even speak to them. She got pregnant prior to the divorce(not from me). courts allowed 50 50 visitation in Florida. and than she took off to Texas, it has been around 5 years.Is it better to sue her or go through the courts try to reinstate visiting rights.I would sue her in Florida. what state would have jurisdiction?

A: You can sue her for custody or visitation. You didn't indicate where they are, but if there was not a court action before concerning custody, and the children have been in that other state for at least six months, you would sue here there. There is no time limit (or statute of limitations), assuming that they are still minors.
