Tulsa, OK asked in Child Custody and Family Law for Oklahoma

Q: Is there a way to request a judge-appointed visitation schedule between court dates for a child custody case?

Our judge approved a specific visitation schedule up to the next court date. The father was able to file for a continuance and continued visitation wasn't addressed. We are currently without an visitation order and I am having to bribe and beg to see my child in the meantime. Previous to the last order, I had standard visitation, which during the school year was every other weekend. The next court date is 2 months away.

A: I would think that the prior order entered would continue to be in effect during the continuance but would have to see it. Does he have an attorney you can contact about this? Do you have one? Failing this, You should consult an experienced Family Law attorney for help.
