Q: I have signed a contract on 8/11 for Buying a business location. I want to cancel the contract for misrepresentation.

I have signed a contract on 8/11/2017 for buying a business location. I want to cancel the contract for misrepresentation. The location (store) is not making amount claimed by the seller. I have sent a cancellation letter via email expressing the reason why I want to cancel. I have not signed the lease agreement for the store's rental, it is still on the seller's name. The seller refuses to communicate. How can I cancel contract legally? Thank you

A: There is no way to give you advice about a contract online when we do not have the ability to review the contract.

You need to consult with an attorney in your area to get specific advice after the attorney reviews all the information that you reference and the written documents.

Good luck.
