Streamwood, IL asked in Family Law for Illinois

Q: My husband pays child support leaving nothing for us, now I find they still have relations, can I recoup anything?

We have 2 kids 5 & 7, she has his 1st 8, and a home, we're behind on rent, all med bills paid, we owe Dr. cant set appt till bill paid for my kids, his attention, if he doesn't respond she threatens more legal action... she sends him sexts and videos of herself, it goes on and on. I'm pretty much done, except I have no money, if we split I don't have any where to go, he can move in with her in her home. Right now I have to concentrate on getting the kids school year started...

A: Recoup anything, no. Call your local legal assistance office if u want a divorce. Get in touch with public housing, food stamps, medical card. There are a lot of resources available to u. They may not be the best ones, but they could keep u from living in the street.
