Q: What can I do to stop a 78 yr.old woman who I pay rent to from physically charging at me threatening to kill me & etc

She offered for me to stay with her in January 2017 while I work getting permanent housing back & we made a verbal agreement on what I pay in rent & etc. I have stayed a full month in March but paid rent in April, May, & June & was there for 1 week in each month because of her constantly yelling threats of having me hurt or having me killed & has been purposely going to neighbors lying by telling them that I have never paid her any rent & I physically pushed my way into her house to live off her & squat while trying to take her home away from her & that i have been committing elder abuse on her & have been ripping her off & that I am a hibitual liar & thief & I have had a few come at me in the dark & I have paid her rent but yet been so afraid of being beat up or worse by either neighbors or parolees that her incarcerated son has gotten to come hurt me due to her lying to him. She has been working at getting me arrested on false elder abuse charges. There's more but no room to write.

A: Obviously, you need to move. A restraining order would be of no use if you are living with her. You could call the police, but are they going to believe you?

A: Move out.

Or

Capture it on good video and audio, and turn it over to police. Set it up on a tripod, close enough to capture sound.

Plus, have your cell phone recorder going, to get another sound track.
