Q: My ex did not put my name on my daughter's birth certificate. We are in the court process now for child support but
currently have a verbal agreement for money and every other weekend visits. She now wants more money or she will move to an unknown location far away. I have money order receipts, texts regarding our agreement and court papers to prove we are in the process. She wont let me see my daughter this weekend, my weekend. What are my rights?
A: If you are already in court then you need to ask for a parenting plan which will include a timesharing schedule. Verbal agreements are generally not enforceable.
