Q: Can cemetery workers undig someone who is already burried to a different spot with out familys permission?

The day of my grandma's funeral she was burried in a spot that we had not purchased for her...we didn't find out until her tumbstond came in a month later but when we went to the cemetery to see her tombstone it was not there for it was a row down from were she was burried. .we were really confused and sad. .we told the people from the cemetery that they had misplaced the tombstone. .but they said that that's wer shes burried. I have prove she wasn't burried in the spot they told us and wer they layed her tombstone. ..we went the next day to tell them this again that they messed up and the worker said" yeah ok we did" he confessed that my grandma was burried in the wrong spot and they undug her with out letting us know that they move her to the spot we purchased. .it affected us to know that the cemetery workers lied to us and they undug her again to prove to us that she was moved to her original spot ..a spot wer we did not bury her the day of her funeral.

A: You should review the cemetery plot contract. Most contracts provide for the cemetery to move, adjust, and even stack the coffins.
