A: The short answer is yes. If your status is suspended infraction then its not likely to have the infraction charged filed later if the police officer did not do it at the time of the stop. However, if your status is suspended prior or suspended misdemeanor then the prosecutor may elect to add those charges. Regardless if the charges are filed you should speak to an attorney about the speeding ticket so you don't make your driving status worse.
