Q: Is it legal to use my photo without permission? What shall I do? Thank you

I am writing because I have just received a photo of myself in a adv panel - two years ago I have done an adv for a the restaurant I used to work. However this picture has been used for a different advert.
A: If they had your permission to take it it generally isn't with restrictions. Did you send a (polite) note to them asking not to use it? Have you been harmed by it's use?
