Q: fault driver's insurance refuse to pay
There was a car accident and the other party agree is her fault and provided her insurance. Her insurance told me to get an estimate. When the estimate came back the insurance thinks is too high. The insurance and wanted to let me get another estimate that I cannot choose or call. Everything need to be handle over by them. This is completely not fair. They are internally manipulating the situation. My best choice is to get the claim check and fixing myself. What can I do to make them giving me a check?? thanks
A: Well, first, do you agree with the check they want to give you? Second, if you were hurt, you may have an injury claim, and need to speak with a member of the Illinois Justice Assn--they give free consults.
