Oxford, AL asked in Family Law and Child Custody for Alabama

Q: There is a sexual assault charge against my ex wife's boyfriend involving my daughter. What can I do?

There is a open sexual assault case against my ex wife's boyfriend in GA (custody battle is in Etowah county Alabama) but the courts are rufusing to do anything and take my daughter out of harms way. There are many other things like doctors saying that the child almost died because of the mothers lack of care but the legal system still won't do anything to take my little girl out of the situation. I have no idea what I can do but I need to find someone or someway that can help me get my daughter out of this dangerous situation and back in my care which has already been proven better and safer through DHR.

A: If you have been to Court on this, you are doing what you need to do. If you don't have a lawyer get one. "the courts are refusing to do anything" means that the court is not doing what you think the Court should do. Get an attorney, right now.
