Q: can a divorce that was final in 2014 , be redone? because property wasnt included back then?

it was my husband that filed for divorce and he stated there was no property to be concidered. and he was granted the divorce. now he is trying to redo divorce because apparently there was some property and he wants me to sign over my interest. which i refused to do. so he filed for divorce again. is this possible? oh and he done this from the state of texas where he now lives.

A: No, you cannot file for divorce from someone you are no longer married to. The proper remedy would be to file a motion to have the court adjudicate the omitted assets. What he's trying to do in Texas may be fraud.
