Florissant, MO asked in Medical Malpractice for Missouri

Q: Is it the doctor’s responsibility to inform that herpes test will not be included in a STD screening?

I requested to be tested for all STDs. I was not having any symptoms. I informed that I wanted to know my status in order to make medical and relationship decisions. After testing I was informed that I was STD free. I later discovered that I was not tested for herpes.
